one light, in light

Throughout history, lights shine bright in Jewish culture. Not only do they illuminate, but they also symbolically represent the ever-lit light of Jewish life. In times of distress, and deep darkness, the light of the menorah sparks hope for all Jewish people.
It is now time for all people to light the spark of life in their communities, and around the world.
While antisemitism is on the rise, you can make a difference where you live, by doing even the smallest things.
1 Asking questions
Asking questions is one of the best ways you can become involved. Seeking to educate yourself about Jewish culture can help you understand your own culture, religion, and history better.
2 Develop an inquiring mind
As you ask questions, relate this knowledge to yourself and others. Try to think objectively just as much as you think subjectively. We can understand others when we know ourselves best.
3 Search the internet
Research on the internet is so easy now. Just type in keywords on google, and you will have a world of academics at your fingertips. Type in "Local synagogues" "Jewish Community Centers", and "Jewish life" in whatever city you live.
4 Remember that awareness is key!
Awareness is the key to unlock the door of education, and we know that education empowers the world.
Be aware of your community!
Love,
Hannah
