שלום חברים
I just want to spread some inspiration today and update you on happenings with Local Chesed. First, I am sorry about the delay in postings, and the stagnant postings. I have had a bit of a rough start to making these videos...but I have MANY ideas coming that I know you will LOVE. I am going to bring the community right to your fingertips. You are going to get to know all kinds of cool and interesting people. It is going to be AWESOME I promise! You will learn about Jewish history, culture, and religion in a fun and personal way. Yes, it is taking some time to get things going, but no worries, all good things take time. It is my goal to introduce you to the PEOPLE. I truly believe that all of our growth and development come from interacting personally with other people. Yes, it's true that I am planning something different that not many people have thought of before. However, I believe it can be done.
What can be done?
To be a blessing & a friend to the Jewish people to promote peace and grace within our communities!
Like Psalm says, "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem"
How can you do this?
By being creative and by using your own unique personality. This is could mean endless possibilities like praying for peace to be found in Israel, praying for people by name in the community, volunteering, donating to local synagogues and community centers, researching events and activities online, reading a book on Jewish or Israeli history, researching American and Israeli politics, attending services on high holidays, asking questions about the Judaic belief system, reading Biblical passages about Jews and Gentiles, comment on Hannah's channel, etc. It doesn't not take much to be a difference in someone's life! Be thoughtful, and find your part.
Why do you have to know and participate?
For those of you who believe God's Holy Word, here is the reason.
Biblically, Christians are connected to Jewish people. The story begins with Jewish people when God says to Abraham, "I will bless them who bless you"
Judaism is the root of Christianity, and therefore commands our respect. Biblically Christians are chosen to be a continuation of a Jewish story, and not the other way around.
At the end of the story, during the end times, Jewish people will still have a role in the Kingdom of God.
Do you want favor in your life?
Do you seek to make your life more Biblical?
Do you want to be near the heart of God?
Do you want peace in our world, in Israel, and the United States?
Love,
Hannah
